Error when opening TFS Connector Admin Site

Jun 11, 2007 at 10:56 PM
Hi,
I've just installed the connector (two server env), and now I want to associate a project on PS2007 to a TFS project. I open the connector admin site and get "This operation could not be sucessfully performed...." The guids kept changing every time the page self-refreshed.
Event log messages are pasted below.
I used a domain account (TFSService) to do the install. And I am logged into the connector machine using this account when I try to access the connector admin site. The account is set up in local admin group on both machines, as well as both database servers (TFS and PS2007). I believe the TFS sites are set up to use NTLM. Any help would be much appretiated.

Thx

~D

Can you check the app pool under which the Connector Web Service is running. Make sure that the identity under which it runs has permissions to call the PSI web methods in Project Server. From the log you have included, it appears that the identity is SPS\TFService. So, I think you should go to Project Server and ensure that this account is set up as a valid user for Project Server and has adequate permission to call the PSI web methods.

Does that make sense to you? Does it help?

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Lenny
