Workitem synchronization

We evaluating the use of the connector.
As far as I understand from the documentation, you must link a project server project to a tfs project. Is this a 1 to 1 link? Or is it also possible to have 1:n, m:1 or m:n relations between projects?
Ideally I want have in Project Server a field in which I can choose the TFS project per PS task, the same as you can choose which workitem type should be used in TFS.
Would this be possible with the out of the box connector?
If not, would it be complex to change the connector to achieve this?

Currently it is 1:1.
One of the major requests we here is to allow n PS2007 projects to be associated with 1 TFS Team Project. We occassionally hear folks wanting to have 1 PS2007 project associated with n TFS Team projects, although it asked for much less than the previous one. This seems like what you are asking for. Is that correct?

Well, in fact many to many is what I would want to have.
Currently we are using PS2007 for the tasks. In TFS we don't use tasks, only the bug and scenario workitem types.

So, in your scenario you have one PS2007 project with bugs for multiple TFS team projects? And you want to be able to indicate which TFS team project a particular bug corresponds to? Is that right?

That's completely right, Lenny.
