Hi,

Does the connector work with VSTS/TFS 2008?

I am downloading a VPC for TFS 2008 and will be testing this out next week. I will post a message on this forum along with any releases necessary to get it ot work with TFS 2008

Dear lfenster (or anyone else),

Have you already tested the Project Server 2007 VSTS Connector with Team Foundation Server 2008? If so, can you post your experiences on this CodePlex website?

Thanks in advance!

It does not yet support TFS 2008; however, I am currently working on a resolution to this. I expect to post an update to the Connector to support TFS 2008 within the next few weeks.

It seems that I've found a solution.
You can use source code of Connector. You should open .sln files and in VS 2005 and in all projects replace references to Microsoft.TeamFoundation.*.dll's to new versions.
After that, rebuild Connector (you can use build guide). And it seems working fine with tfs 2008.

This is what I expect as well. However, the apping file will also need to be updated fo rthe new process templates in TFS 2008 andsome have reported some issues with the installer which i need to look into. However, I expect it will be pretty straightforward and there will be a new release for download within the next few weeks (at most)

Well.
Yes there are issues with templates. TFS was unable to create projects with templates installed by connector.
I've replaced files in Microsoft's "MSF for agile" template to your ones and TFS works fine with them now.
Also there are some small issues with tfs API.
